Anjali Nigam was born in Mumbai, India. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Ms. Nigam obtained her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where she also received numerous honors and awards for her trial and oral advocacy.
While in law school, Anjali had the privilege of clerking for Chief Justice Michael Schneider of the First Court of Appeals. She also clerked for Judge Sherry Radack of the 55th District Court of Harris County who is currently serving as the Chief Justice of the First Court of Appeals.
During Anjali’s career, she has successfully represented some of the nation’s largest corporations and insurance companies in numerous lawsuits, involving both commercial and personal injury issues. She has a unique ability of unwinding complex factual issue and effectively communication those issues to juries. While she loves to be in the courtroom, she has also obtained successful results through motion practice. She has focused on personal injury matters on both the plaintiff and defense side since 2001.
