April A. Strahan
Personal Injury Product Liability Attorney
April is a native of Beaumont, Texas and received her B.A. from the University of Houston. After graduating, April worked as a manager for a focus group facility in Boston, Massachusetts that conducted focus groups for national and international businesses.
She also worked as an assistant trial director for a jury consulting firm where she attended mock trials across the country and assisted with jury research. April returned to Houston after a year in the northeast to attend South Texas College of Law where she received her law degree. While at South Texas, April earned several advocacy awards participating in moot court and mock trial competitions. She also served as a member of the South Texas Law Review as well as the Managing Editor of the Construction Law Journal.
During her second year, she received the Alumni Association Award for Best Law Review Article when she co-authored a law review article on foreign legal consultants. While in law school, April worked as an intern for United States District Judge David Hittner. She also worked for the United States Attorney's Office, and as an intern for Judge Tim Taft of the First Court of Appeals. April worked as a law clerk for The Ammons Law Firm during her final year of law school.
After graduating, April served as the Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Michael Keasler on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the highest criminal court in Texas. After her tenure with the Court, April joined The Ammons Law Firm as an associate and has since focused her practice on helping catastrophically injured clients in products liability cases.
